Personal Data Protection Notice

This notice is issued pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") of Malaysia and describes how SkillX processes your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to the processing described here.

1. Personal Data We Process

We may collect and process your name, email address, account credentials, business and project information, subscription and usage records, and payment-related information processed by our payment partners.

2. Purpose of Processing

• To register and administer your account.
• To deliver the AI skills, workflows and reports you request.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To provide support, security and service improvements.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Source of Personal Data

We obtain personal data directly from you when you register, create projects, run skills or contact us, and automatically through your use of the Service.

4. Disclosure

Your personal data may be disclosed to our service providers (hosting, AI model providers and payment gateways), to relevant authorities where required by law, and to professional advisers, in each case on a need-to-know basis.

5. Your Rights of Access and Correction

Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data, and to limit its processing. You may also withdraw consent, although this may affect our ability to provide the Service. To make a request, contact us at support@skillx.my.

6. Security and Retention

We take practical steps to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and retain it only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.

7. Consent

By providing your personal data and using the Service, you consent to its processing in accordance with this notice. If you provide data about third parties (for example, team members), you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Language

In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Bahasa Malaysia versions of this notice, the English version shall prevail unless required otherwise by law.
